Delivery Process Explained

We offer most products with a 24hr delivery depending on the size and weight of your packages: Please consult map for details of delivery times for UK Mainland, Scotland, Scottish Isles, and Eire & Channel Isles etc.

Next Day Delivery

Once the order has been processed (on orders before 4pm) we will endeavour to have your items on the doorstep within 24 hours. (Monday to Friday) this is subject to available stock. In the event of your order not been in stock or if a pallet delivery is applicable then delivery could take up to 72 hours. 3.75 ML & Heavy Bulky items may be subject to a Sur charge- (if this is applicable, then one of our customer service represensatives will advise). Next Day delivery is not available on Bank Holidays and Sundays. Orders placed on a Friday with standard carriage paid will be delivered the following Monday.

Saturday Delivery

We understand the need to be flexible and give you the option to include Saturday as part of the working week.

Timed Services

We can offer you a specific delivery window Timed Services to. This gives flexibility to suit any lifestyle and work patterns, ensuring that you are able to sign for delivery.

All deliveries require someone to be present to accept and sign for the delivery. This is simply to ensure the goods were delivered and received correctly. If you can’t be there to sign for delivery you may be able to provide special delivery instructions during the checkout process. Otherwise, remember that you can specify a different delivery address while ordering and have your order delivered to your workplace, site etc.

For most items you'll be able to select a preferred delivery method when placing your order. If for any reason, we can't offer you a preferred choice of delivery please contact our customer care team on 0845 8389984.

Order Confirmation

After we have picked, packed and loaded your items we will forward a confirmation e mail to the e mail address provided. Within this e mail you will receive both your unique order tracking number and a link to myhdnl.co.uk .By clicking on the link and inserting your reference number you be allowed to track and trace your products.

SMS Text Pre-alert Service

You can opt for a SMS Pre-alert service by providing a mobile phone number when placing your order. A text will be sent to you upon receipt of your products into the HDNL network (If received before 22:00hrs the day before delivery). You then have the option to text back or visit myhdnl.co.uk to select a preferred delivery day.

SMS Text Reminder

Forgotten that your products are out for delivery!!!! No worries will send you a reminder SMS txt alert on the day. (Providing you have issued a mobile phone number when placing your order).

The carding process has been developed with the view of making things go as smoothly as possible for our customers.

• You will have a choice of redelivery to suit your needs and real time confirmation of booking

• HDNL Customer Service open 07:00 to 22:00 M-F , and Saturday 08:00 to 14:00

• Delivery promise captured within HDNL online real time tracking system which utilises handheld technology to underpin the HDNL redelivery promise.

• Parcels are in the first instance returned to the delivering depot and scanned for full traceability and held for a period of 14 days. Once contact is received from the customer, HDNL will then attempt redelivery. Should the attempt fail, HDNL will inform Electricalstock.com using Resolve to seek advice before returning the parcel to the agreed location.

• Upon receipt of the Resolve notification, Electricalstock will attempt to contact you on any numbers provided. Failure to make contact will result in your items being returned to Electricalstock. (NB re-despatch requests may result in a further cost )
